Technology Analysis of the Falling Sound of Bearing Rolling Elements

When the bearing is running under radial load, the bearing is in the load zone and the non-load zone. If the bearing has a certain radial clearance, the rolling elements in the non-load zone do not contact the inner raceway. Due to the centrifugal force, it may be contacted with the outer ring. Therefore, when the centrifugal force is less than the weight of the rolling elements, the rolling elements rotated as low speeds will fall and collide with the inner raceway or cage, and the inherent vibration and noise of the bearing will be stimulated. The following phenomena will occur:

1. The speed range is also different within a certain range due to the difference of bearing size.

2. For the bearing only has radial load and large radial clearance, it is prone to vibration and noise.

3 The noise generated by the bearing may be continuous or intermittent.

4 When the grease lubrication is used, it is easy to produce vibration and noise, while the oil lubrication is used; it is not easy to produce vibration and noise. When inferior grease is used, the inside of the bearing is more likely to contain water.

5. Random loud and long noises.

6. Strong vibration often excites the second-order and third-order bending natural vibration of the outer ring, resulting in loud noise.
