Causes of bearing corrosion
Bearing corrosion is caused by various internal and external factors, which are mainly affected by the following related factors:
1. Metal surface finish (electric corrosion with poor oxygen concentration).
2. The chemical composition and structure of the metal material itself.
3. The composition and pH value of the solution in contact with the metal surface;
4. Ambient temperature and humidity.
5. Various environmental media in contact with metal surfaces.
6. In addition, human sweat can also cause bearing corrosion, and its pH value is 5~6. Therefore, in order to prevent rust caused by sweat on hands, installation and production personnel should wear gloves and do not touch the bearings with their hands.
