Handling method of dealing with bearing’s temperature rise in the operation of hydraulic turbine

There are several ways to deal with the bearing’s temperature rise during the operation of the hydraulic turbine:

(1) Check the cooling water pressure, water flow and water pipe system.

(2) Check the oil pressure, oil flow and oil pipeline system.

(3) Check whether the bearing has abnormal noise, and make sure whether the swing of the bearing is abnormal.

(4) Take oil samples for testing and check the oil quality. If the oil deterioration is confirmed, replace with new oil after shutdown.
