Load bearing

Bearings with high rigidity and load carrying capacity and low limit speed.

Classification

(1) Sliding bearings: According to the lubrication method, they are divided into incomplete lubrication bearings and liquid lubrication bearings. Incomplete lubrication bearings include split, integral, oil-impregnated bearings, and nylon bearings; liquid lubricated bearings are divided into hydrostatic and dynamic pressure bearings.

(2) Rolling bearings: According to the rolling elements, they are divided into spherical, cylindrical and conical shapes.

 Features

(1) The sliding bearing is a smooth surface to support the rotating shaft, so the contact part is one surface, and the movement mode is sliding; its contact stiffness is good, the load bearing performance is strong, the structure space is small, the manufacturing cost is low, but the friction coefficient is large, The transmission efficiency is poor and the limit speed is low.

(2) Rolling bearings support the rotating shaft by the rotation of rolling elements. The rolling element is spherical and the contact part is a point (this type is a speed bearing). The rolling element is a cylinder or cone, and the contact part is a line. Line, the more rolling elements, the more contact points; the movement mode is rolling. The rolling element is a cylindrical or conical linear contact bearing with good contact stiffness, strong load-bearing performance, low friction coefficient, good transmission efficiency, and a slightly higher limit speed; the cylindrical rolling element has an advantage over the conical bearing. It is more suitable for high precision, high strength and high speed. For example, cylindrical roller bearings (N series), especially double row cylindrical roller bearings (NN series) have advantages.

Plain bearing material

(1) Metal materials, such as bearing alloys, bronze, aluminum-based alloys, zinc-based alloys, etc;

(2) Oil bearing (powder metallurgy material);

(3) Non-metallic materials: nylon, modified polyoxymethylene (POM), etc.;
