Linear sliding bearing

In rolling bearings, the bearing rings are separated by rolling units (rolling elements). In a sliding guide system, the movable part slides on a static guide or shaft. Depending on the type of track system, the sliding layer is on a movable or rigid component. The lubricating oil is immersed in the sliding layer to achieve the purpose of lubrication.

Linear sliding bearings are linear positioning bearings with unlimited stroke length. These linear guidance systems may be miniature sliding guidance systems and Permaglide linear sliding bearing units and flat guidance systems.

The miniature sliding guidance system includes a guide/slider system and a maintenance-free sliding layer. The Permaglide linear sliding bearing unit is a low-maintenance device installed in a Permaglide bushing with a light metal ring.
