The performance ratio of ceramic bearing is far better than that of all-steel bearing, and the service life of ceramic bearing can be increased by more than 3 times compared with the service life of current bearing, which can save a lot of downtime, reduce the rejection rate, reduce the inventory of bearing spare parts, etc. Compared with bearing steel, the dead weight is 30%-40% of bearing steel, which can reduce the increase of moving body load and sliding caused by centrifugal force. Due to high wear resistance and rotation speed of 1.3-1.5 times of steel bearing, the damage of groove surface caused by high-speed rotation can be reduced. The elastic modulus is 1.5 times higher than steel bearing. Small force elasticity can reduce the deformation caused by high load. Ceramic bearing is twice as hard as steel bearing and can reduce wear and tear. Its compressive resistance is 5-7 times that of bearing steel, and its thermal expansion coefficient is less than 20% of bearing steel. The friction coefficient of ceramic is less than 30% of the bearing steel, which can reduce the heat generated by friction and reduce the premature spalling failure of the bearing caused by high temperature. The tensile strength and bending resistance of ceramics are equal to that of steel metal

1. High-speed bearing

It has the advantages of cold resistance, small force elasticity, large pressure resistance, poor thermal conductivity, light dead weight, small friction coefficient, etc., and can be used in high-speed spindles and other high-precision equipment from 12000 RPM to 75,000 RPM; 

2. High temperature bearing

The material itself has high temperature resistance of 1200℃, and good self-lubrication, the use temperature between 100℃-800℃ does not produce expansion caused by temperature difference.Can be used in furnace, plastic, steel and other high temperature equipment; 

3. Corrosion resistant bearings

The material itself has corrosion resistance characteristics, can be used in strong acid, strong alkali, inorganic, organic salt, sea water and other fields, such as: electroplating equipment, electronic equipment, chemical machinery, shipbuilding, medical equipment and so on. 

4. Antimagnetic bearing

Because no magnetic dust absorption, the bearing can be reduced in advance of spalling, noise, etc.Can be used in demagnetization equipment.Precision instruments and other fields. 

5. Electric insulated bearings

Because of high electrical resistance, can avoid arc damage bearing, can be used in a variety of electrical equipment insulation requirements. 

6. Vacuum bearing

Due to the unique oil-free self-lubrication characteristic of ceramic materials, the difficulty of common bearing lubrication can be overcome in ultra-high vacuum environment.Note: The same set of bearings of the above five categories can be used in high-temperature, high-speed, acid-base, magnetic field and non-insulation, but due to different material properties (please refer to the table of rare earth ceramic material properties), when customers choose products, they should choose the most suitable ceramic bearing according to their application occasions.

 1. Zirconia all-ceramic bearing

All-ceramic bearings with magneto-electric insulation resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, oil-free self-lubrication, high temperature and cold resistance, can be used in extremely harsh environments and special working conditions. The rings and rolls are made of zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic materials, the reservoirs are made of PTFE (PTFE) as the standard configuration, and glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 (RPA66-25), special engineering plastics (PEEK, PI), stainless steel (AISISUS316), brass (Cu), etc.

2. Silicon nitride all-ceramic bearing

Silicon nitride all-ceramic bearing rings and rolling body are made of silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic materials, the retractor is made of PTFE as standard configuration, rPA66-25, PEEK, PI, and Bakelite pipe can also be used in general.SiN4 all-ceramic bearings are suitable for higher speed and load capacity as well as higher ambient temperatures compared to ZrO2 materials. Precision ceramic bearings for high speed, high precision and high rigidity spindles are also available, with the highest manufacturing accuracy UP to Grade P4 to UP.

3. Full ball ceramic bearing

The full ball-type all-ceramic bearing has a ball notch on one side. Due to the non-retainer structure design, more ceramic balls can be loaded than the bearing of standard structure, so as to improve its load capacity. In addition, the effect of corrosion resistance and temperature resistance of all-ceramic bearing with ceramic retainer can be achieved by avoiding the limitation of retainer material. This series of bearings is not suitable for high speed, so it should be noted that the notched surface should be installed on the end that does not bear axial load. 

4 Ceramic retainer and all-ceramic bearing

Ceramic cage has the advantages of wear resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance and self-lubrication. All-ceramic bearings made by ceramic cage can be used in extremely corrosive, ultra-low temperature, high vacuum and other harsh environments. Common ceramic materials are ZrO2,Si3N4 or SiC. 

5. Mixed ceramic ball bearings

Ceramic ball, especially silicon nitride ball, is characterized by low density, high hardness, low friction coefficient, abrasion resistance, self-lubrication and good rigidity. It is especially suitable for high-speed, high-precision and long-life mixed ceramic ball bearing rolling body (inner and outer rings are metal).Bearing steel (GCr15) or stainless steel (AISI440C) is generally used for inner and outer rings. Ceramic balls can be made of ZrO2, Si3N4 or SiC materials.
