Antimagnetic bearing material

The high-sensitivity bearing used in the guidance system and some instrumentation bearings must be made of antimagnetic materials,in order to prevent the strong magnetic field or the geomagnetic field from affecting the bearing, keep the bearing out of magnetized, and strive to stabilize the friction torque of the bearing, and ensure the accuracy of the bearing. For example, in the mining industry, remote sensing technology is used for large-area prospecting, and the parts of the prospecting instrument used are required to be free from magnetic interference, and the instrument bearing should be made of anti-magnetic bearing material. At present, the commonly used antimagnetic bearing materials mainly include:

Stainless steel: 1Crl8Ni9Ti, 40CrNiAl;
Antimagnetic steel: 70Mnl8Cr4V2WN, 25Crl8Nil0WN, 7Mnl5Cr2A13WmoV2;
Nickel-copper alloy: NiCu28-2.5-1.5;
Beryllium bronze: QBe2;
Powder metallurgy materials: YG6, ST60.
One of the most commonly used is beryllium bronze QBe2.
