This type of steel includes GCrl0, 37CrA, 40CrA, etc., which are used to manufacture the rollers of spiral roller bearings. It is used in conveyors that bear impact loads, transport rollers of rolling mills, etc. 5CrMnMo, 60CrMnMoNi and other steel materials are used to manufacture the outer ring of spherical plain bearings. For bearings with low-wear that require low load conditions in the operating environment, they can also be made of No. 45 steel. 

Spring steel

55SiMoVA steel is commonly used in the manufacture of bearings for oil drilling rigs, turbodrills, and rolling elements for roller cone bits for petroleum and mining. 65Mn steel is used to make retainer ring of dust cover and so on.

Free cutting steel

Free-cutting steel is such as Y20, Y30 and other steel materials are used to make cheap bearing rings. This kind of bearing is characterized by low precession requirements, small load, and less demand. The bearing made of this material has a simple process, it is usually assembled directly after being turned into a shape, and then subjected to a chromizing treatment, and the finished products cost low production, but high production efficiency .

Other steel grades

08, 10, 08F, IOF cold-rolled steel is used to manufacture needle roller bearing rings after cyanidation treatment.

Steel grades such as 20, 30, 20Mn, 30Mn, T8, T10A, etc. are used to manufacture bearings for agricultural machinery, general machinery, trolleys, etc. that are not demanding.

T8 and T10A cold-rolled steel plate steel strips are used to manufacture the outer ring of the bearing of the cup-shaped instrument.

After carburizing treatment, 15Mn, 20CrMn, and 20NiMo are used to manufacture needle roller bearing outer rings and joint bearing outer rings.

After carburizing, 18CrMnTi is used to manufacture roller bearing rings and rollers on trucks or transportation vehicles with high vibration.
