Introduction

Deep Groove Ball Bearings, (GB/T 276-1994) is one of the most common types of rolling bearing. The basic type of deep groove ball bearing consists of an outer ring, an inner ring, a group of steel balls and a set of cage. There are two types of deep groove ball bearing: single row and double row. The type of single row deep groove ball bearing is code-named 6, and the type of double row deep groove ball bearing is code-named 4.


The principle 

Deep groove ball bearing is mainly used to bear pure radial load, but also can bear both radial load and axial load. When it only bears pure radial load, the contact Angle is zero. When the deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance, it has the performance of angular contact bearing and can bear a large axial load. The friction coefficient of the deep groove ball bearing is very small, the limit speed is also very high, especially in the high speed operating condition with a large axial load, and the deep groove ball bearing is more advantageous than the thrust ball bearing.


Structure 

Structure of deep groove ball bearing is simpler as compared with other types of bearings, it can simply achieve the higher manufacturing accuracy, so it is easy to be made on scale of mass production, for low cost in manufacturing, it is very common for many usages. In addition to the basic type, Deep groove ball bearing has a lot of variant structure, such as: deep groove ball bearing with dust cover ,deep groove ball bearing with rubber sealing ring; deep groove ball bearing with stop groove; deep groove ball bearing with ring notched filling balls for large load capacity , and double row deep groove ball bearings. 


Advantages

The axial bearing capacity is increased when a large radial clearance is selected, and the contact Angle is zero as it is only subjected to pure radial force. With axial forces, the contact Angle is greater than zero. For common usage, it is usually use punching- wave-type cage, machined solid cage, sometimes also use a nylon cage. 


Deep groove ball bearing mounting

After the deep groove ball bearing is mounted on the shaft, it can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in both directions within the axial clearance range of the bearing, so it will be positioned axially in both directions. In addition, the bearing also has a certain ability to adjust the center, when relative to the shell hole tilt 2 '~ 10', it can still work normally, but has a certain impact on the bearing life. Deep groove ball bearing cages are mostly steel plate stamped wave type cages; large bearings retainers are mostly made of metal body retainers.


Application

Deep groove ball bearings can be used for transmission, instrumentation, electrical, household appliances, internal combustion engines, traffic vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, construction machinery, and yo-yo, etc. 


Type of deep groove ball bearings

Bearing with seals, bearing with dust cover: single or double dust iron cover, non - contact rubber seal ring: one - side or two - side non - contact seal ring. 

Also bearings with contact rubber sealing ring: one or two contact rubber sealing rings are in contact with the inner ring. 

Some bearings with outer ring with stop slot: N: outer ring with stop slotting: outer ring with stop slot and stop ring;
